The body has the most perfect and complete communication system in existence - when everything is in working order. If there are any structural (spine) misalignments though, this perfection is interrupted by the lack of communication to certain areas due to pressure on the nerves. Much like someone stepping on a garden hose and stopping the water from coming out.

The primary goal of a chiropractor is to evaluate the spine for "subluxations" and treat these areas of dysfuntion in order to restore the body's message sending system.

"Amazing!" "Incredible!" "I can hardly believe it, but it works!" These are some of the remarks heard by chiropractors when a patient has experienced an applied kinesiology examination. Muscle tests are applied to different areas of the body in a manner that evaluates a specific muscle. Some muscles test strong and others appear extremely weak. The"weakness" indicates not only poor muscle function, but also possible trouble with the organ and /or other tissue of the same nerve, vascular, and nutritional grouping.
